The Overberg District is home to KARTO Surveys & Mapping. We were established early 2009, with our office located in L'Agulhas in the Overberg District, Western Cape, South Africa.

KARTO provides geospatial solutions for a variety of disciplines, which include survey, consulting engineering, GIS, Town Planning and Mapping sectors.  We bring a fresh innovative approach to geospatial industry. 

Our goals are to exceed the expectations of every client by offering outstanding client service with increased flexibility which allows our clients to be involved throughout the project life cycle, thus optimizing system functionality and improving our operation efficiency and client satisfaction.   As experts in the management of geospatial projects and technical supervision KARTO remains involved in every stage of the project from data acquisition to completion, offering continual, functional and technical support. 

Our extensive skills encompass all aspects of data acquisition, operations, implementation & data delivery, including development of specifications, technical design, overseeing development, operations and customization to fit the specific needs of our clients.  We provide our clients insight into all progress and technical procedures during the lifetime of the projects. 

KARTO possesses operational experience in various geospatial applications, such as Survey, Photogrammetry, Lidar, GIS, Satellite Imagery, and Cartography.  We pride ourselves as a professional service provider and are well-versed in all aspects of geospatial projects, from budgeting & productivity to establishing and maintaining business partnerships.  By effectively directing our team members in technical procedures, training & project management we ensure that all business & technical requirements are met within budget restraints and time schedules.
