Elevation Data Digital Terrain Model (DTM) are XYZ points and breaklines (lines defining a change in slope) that accurately model the earth surface. The DTM is used for the generation of numerous products including ortho-rectification of aerial or satellite imagery and the generation of contours. Spatial applications include the creation of accurate floodplain maps, terrain models, transportation, infrastructure planning and land-use management.
